The Notepad

Use the notepad to record observations, including photos of student work. Use different colors to distinguish among observations, questions, concerns, etc..

  1. Take a photo
  2. Insert from photo library (see below)
  3. Pen tool (chosen by default) – long press to adjust width
  4. Eraser (erase strokes)
  5. Photo move tool
  6. Ink colors
  7. Flag a note (for filtering; see Reviewing notes)
  8. Apply tags
Long-press on the draw tool to adjust the line width.

Using the Photo Library

For some lessons, there may be a graphic that you will want to use in multiple notes. For example, if students will annotate a diagram, you might take a picture of that diagram before the lesson, then insert it into notes. Or, if you anticipate students creating different diagrams, you could take a picture or pictures showing the different diagrams, then insert it into a student note.
